Precision Gem

Gem 1016 - Spinel - 1.47 ct. This spinel has a color change, going from the color of this photo to more of a lilac color in daylight. The stone is cut in a classic trillion design and measures 7.14 mm. The origin of this stone is from the Morogoro region of Tanzania, and is one of the stones from my trip last summer to Africa. Very good crystal, but one inclusion that is eye visible in the right lighting, otherwise clarity would be an 8.

Gem 791 - Pink Spinel - 4.62 ct. A very nice spinel from Tajikistan cut in a long oval design. I really like this design, it's a nice change from the typical oval, yet is very elegant. This stone has good crystal, and just a few very small bubbles that are noticeable in the picture but almost invisible to the naked eye. These photos always show any inclusions much more than you would see in person. The stone measures 12 x 8 mm. I got a good deal on the parcel of these stones, so I can pass the price on. It should sell for double this price. Color 4, Clarity 4

Gem 757 - Pink Spinel - 5.07 ct. This spinel is from Tajikistan, and is a rather rare larger size. Excellent crystal and just a few small inclusions make is just short of eye clean. In person the stone looks much cleaner than the photo as my lights tend to bring out any imperfections. The stone measures 11.06 x 8.17 mm. Color 4, Clarity 4-

Gem 705 - Pink Spinel - 1.88 ct. A spinel from Tajikistan cut with a diamond checker crown. Very nice pink color in a Mauve pink color. Measure 9.05 x 6.14 mm. Color 4, Clariy 4-

Gem 696 - Pink Spinel - 3.28 ct. This is from Tajikistan and is a nice larger pink stone. There are some small bubbles in it, and I priced it down because of that, but the color is great and in person the sparkle hides the bubbles well. Measures 7.4 x 8.2 mm. Color 4, Clarity 3+
